Apollonas Glykas (b.Athens, 1983) studied photography at Leica Academy and graduated from Athens School of Fine Arts with distinction in 2011. His work encompasses sculpture, installations, painting and photography.
He collaborates with architecture firms developing installations, he works as a photographer since 2000 and teaches drawing and painting since 2010.
His works have been presented in Greece and abroad, and have been awarded by National Post Bank (2009), Panathinaikos FC (2010), IOAS Institute for road safety (2010), Hellenic Railways Organisation OSE – Code Rail Art (2017 – artwork will be permanently featured in central train station), ARTWORKS (2020), Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Fellowship Program.
